The Foy Brothers Band is a multi talented Soul/Funk/R&B/Blues band that has been entertaining audiences in the Capital Region for over ten years. With the release of their first CD "Whatever" in the year 2000 and winners of the Northeast Blues Society's Colossal Contenders Blues Challenge of the same year, the Foy Brothers continue to evolve into the tight-knit band they are today.
Founding members; Mark Foy, brother Kevin Foy and niece Charee Hendricks, along with Joe Pennisi, Mark Giammattei and new comer John Ellis embark on the release of their new CD "Time" in 2008, a compilation of songs written by several of the band members with guest artist; Brian Melik, Annette Harris, Denise Cokes and former member Bud McGuire. "Time" truly shows the professionalism of the Foy Brothers Band as a unit, with a wide range of styles, this CD takes you places that only the Foys can bring you, from the satisfying blues of "Going Home" to the warm sun filled fun at "Banana Joes".
